What is self-care?

Self-care is taking a moment to look after yourself. A moment to engage with something that you love. A moment to engage with something that makes you happy. Something that makes you feel totally exhilarated, invigorated, fresh, young, and full of love.

For me, this is taking a walk in the rain through the forest. This is when I feel the LOVE. In fact, I feel showered with love.

I would like to encourage you – the next time it is grey outside, and the raindrops are falling, get yourself dressed up and go for a walk. After all, there is no such thing as bad weather, there is only being badly dressed. So, get yourself kitted up and enjoy nature!

If you would like to take this to a NINJA level, go barefoot. Take off your shoes and feel the mud squish between your toes, feel the cold cool earth beneath your feet. This will ground you in moments of panic or in the eye of a storm.
