About angie_admin
I am 30 years old and come from South Africa. Love brought me to Switzerland in October 2014. Prior to my arrival in Switzerland I lived in South Korea, the USA and Moscow.
On completion of my BA in 2009, it was my passion for travel and my inquisitive nature that sparked the desire to move to South Korea. Teaching English, at this point, was merely a means to fund the “travel bug.”
Something miraculous happened during my first teaching job! Not only was I really good at my job, I truly enjoyed it… Every morning like clockwork, with the force of a tidal wave, the door burst open and a tsunami of 5 year olds poured into my classroom! “Hi Miss Angie teacher!” they shouted, rushing past my desk and howling with laughter as they bombarded around the room. I guess, as they say, the rest is history.
I loved connecting with the students. Very early on in life, I knew that I had a good knack for working with children but never in my wildest imagination would I become a teacher…
As the years went on and my passport filled with stamps, so my passion for teaching English has developed and grown stronger.

In the Owl clubs, students are motivated to acquire a new language or develop their mother tongue through inquiry based learning and child centered activities. […]
A child’s JOB – PLAY don’t stop… PLAY!
