Mindful Awareness is a widely used stress-reduction technique that works by enabling children to pay closer attention to what is happening within them – thoughts, feelings, emotions – so that they can better understand what is happening to them. In our club we teach children how they can be more compassionate to themselves and others. We combine mindfulness into our lessons to help learners overcome the challenge of language acquisition and mastering key literacy skills according to their individual levels.
